Adventures In Bamboo

I am NOT having fun with the carding process with the bamboo - long and laborious and too much fibre-up-the-nose.

But the resulting roving/yarn sure is pretty, isn't it?

Nancy K. said...: I've discovered that I really don't like carding. Or at least the preparation that has to be done BEFORE I can even begin carding! I'm in the process of picking out a Shetland fleece (flicking the felted tips off) and a mohair fleece that I want to blend together. It's just SO much easier (and costly!) to send it in to be prepared...; August 8, 2008 at 8:40 AM
