Minnesota Spring

Spring and Autumn are precious commodities in Minnesota. We go from one end to the other in a week, or perhaps two, and then it's gone. Summers are hot and muggy, Winters are cold and icy...

... but oh, those few weeks between are heaven!

Here's Minnehaha Parkway, at the very beginning of our springtime bloom, just barely over a week ago. The peak passed by and I forgot my camera, and now the petals have mostly blown away. But don't you wish you'd been here for this?
